Michael Savage - Rioting liberal college students in California are on the wrong side of historyMay 12, 2012
As part of a nationwide day of protest against cuts to public education and hikes in tuition rates, students, faculty and community leaders marched from UC Berkeley to downtown Oakland last Thursday. Were out here supporting people, said Karen Ortiz, a sophomore from CSU East Bay, where budget cuts are expected to reach at least $4 million. Weve gone from having 10 classes to just one class. Teachers are getting laid off, salaries have decreased by 10 percent and you know, its tough times. The National Day of Action for Public Education on March 4 came after the Sept. 24 UC Berkeley walkouts, where over 1000 students and faculty demonstrated against the massive cuts and budget increases. Most students were protesting the 32 percent tuition increase, which will raise $505 million for the University of California to prevent further cuts according to University officials. According to CNN.com, $175 million is planned to go to financial aid in order to balance the tuition increase by providing assistance to low and middle-income students. The tuition increases will be implemented in the next two years, with UC Berkeley students having to pay $8373 this spring semester and $10302 in fall 2010. My heart and my support are with everybody and anybody who wants to stand up for public education. I salute those who are making themselves heard today in a peaceful manner on behalf of a great cause, said UC President Mike Yudof in a statement written in a Contra Costa Times article ...

Making the Edinboro University Fighting Scot StatueApr 06, 2012
Dedicated to all Edinboro University students -- past, present and future -- the Fighting Scot Plaza and Statue not only honors Edinboro's rich and storied Scottish history, but creates a new tradition for generations of students yet to come. The twelve-and-a-half-ton, 12-feet high, cast-bronze statue, created by alumnus Jim Prokell as a historically accurate representation from the Rob Roy period of Scottish history, was crafted at Meadville, Pennsylvania's US Bronze Foundry and Machine, Inc. From conception to completion, the project was 13 years in the making, becoming a reality in September 2010 because of the generosity of the members of Edinboro University Alumni Association. It was the Association, through fundraising events over the years, that raised an astounding $606000 for the Fighting Scot Statue project -- all funds coming entirely from private donations. Already, the magnificent Fighting Scot Statue has become an iconic representation of the University's cherished mascot. The Fighting Scot Statue Plaza has brought the statue to life in a meaningful way, creating an environment for members of the Edinboro University community conducive for meeting, socializing, studying, taking photographs and making last memories.
"A Brief History of Israeli Spying in the US"Apr 14, 2012
Further informations about topics addressed are available in favourites, play lists on my channel and complementary video responses. Mirrored, Thanks, and published with the permission of: www.youtube.com "Spying between countries that are nominally allies is in itself nothing new. US spies themselves have been caught up in numerous scandals over the years, including the infamous UN spying scandal that was revealed in 2010. But when a country like Israel -- a supposed "friend" of the United States and a nation for whose billions of dollars in economic and military aid the American taxpayers foot the bill -- turns out to be the nation that is most deeply involved in spying operations in the US, and even controls much of the technology and financial infrastructure which the US uses to spy (unconstitutionally) on its own citizenry, the American people have a duty not merely to be puzzled but actively outraged at the government and media's complicity in keeping this information from the public. CIA Archives: Buddhism in Burma - History, Politics and CultureMay 18, 2012
thefilmarchive.org Buddhism in Burma (also known as Myanmar) is predominantly of the Theravada tradition, practised by 89% of the country's population It is the most religious Buddhist country in terms of the proportion of monks in the population and proportion of income spent on religion. Adherents are most likely found among the dominant ethnic Bamar (or Burmans), Shan, Rakhine (Arakanese), Mon, Karen, and Chinese who are well integrated into Burmese society. Monks, collectively known as the Sangha, are venerated members of Burmese society. Among many ethnic groups in Myanmar, including the Bamar and Shan, Theravada Buddhism is practiced in conjunction with nat worship, which involves the placation of spirits who can intercede in worldly affairs. With regard to "salvation" in the Buddhist sense, there are three primary paths in Burmese Buddhism: merit-making, vipassana (insight meditation), and the weizza path (an esoteric form of Buddhism that involves the occult). Merit-making is the most common path undertaken by Burmese Buddhists. This path involves the observance of the Five Precepts and accumulation of good merit through charity and good deeds (dana) in order to obtain a favorable rebirth. The vipassana path, which has gained ground since the early 1900s, is a form of insight meditation believed to lead to enlightenment. The third and least common route, the weizza path, is an esoteric system of occult practices (such as recitation of spells, samatha meditation ...
BBE part 26 - to Bosnian gov't : WE EXIST !!!Aug 26, 2010
reminding my gov't what have I done, and that they owe us all privileges of our citizenship!! Forbidden History #26 In the meantime, I just learned through comments on my videos Muharem Serbezovski started working in Bosnian government, representing minority(ies)!! Can this situation get any more dangerous to peace of mind of my people? It seems money that was missing from financial aid (rummor has it from banks in Bosna which simply closed taking money with them, and nobody was charged or imprisoned over it), went to create Bosnian "nobles" who are paid to make people's lives as miserable as possible. is this some kind of secret price for peace in 1996, an unspecified time and ways of misery and insult for people, as to discourage them from uniting? Do we still have any freedoms left to acquire the ones we don't? Is there any legal way now to put Muharem Sebezovski in jail for humiliating and sabotaging quality of dignity and chances for REAL help to reach my people, going on for years? Do we not have anyone intelligent enough to represent us that Bosnian government "had to reach out" for disgusting criminal Muharem Serbezovski is? This is deliberate sabotage of any chance my people have to get back on our feet on our own.. But then, there is the sign of intelligence for my people, the one UN, Bosnian government along with other organizations had no decency to reveal to the public, and solutions for our problems that are domestically and internationally made to continue ...
Javed: Dependence on Foreign AidAug 27, 2010
Javed Chaudhry - host of Kal Tak program in Pakistan - describes the cultural shame associated with begging in the Subcontinent and questions why Pakistan has become a nation of beggars. According to him, people generally beg for money when they are either financially ruined or when their expenses exceed their incomes. In both cases, however, the act of begging carries a heavy social stigma that people try very hard to avoid. Yet Pakistan - as a country - appears to have lost all cultural shame by resorting to begging on the international stage for loans and grants. PLEASE READ MY COMMENTS ON THE VIDEO BEFORE WATCHING.
