It is very damaging to your credit, and future credit applications will require you to disclose if you've had a previous Foreclosure. It is both embarrassing and can affect future credit and housing decisions. If you are behind on your mortgage, please call us to see what your options are. You may be able to stay in the home for many more months, but it is always wise to have a plan in place should a Notice of default be filed and recorded. The more time you give us to achieve your goals, the better the chances that we will be successful.
